Beulah Otelia Lathrop Ledet

Beulah Otelia Lathrop Ledet, 94, wife of the late Louis Levy Ledet of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The relatives and friends of Beulah Ledet are invited to attend her Funeral Service Saturday, November 10, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00 until time of the service.

Beulah was born on August 20, 1918 in Sumner, Illinois, daughter of the late Dennis Clay Lathrop and Mabel June Petty Lathrop. She served as a Registered Nurse at Roper Hospital for over seventeen years.

She is survived by a son, Phillip L. Ledet (Anne) of Charleston, SC; one brother, Levi Lathrop of Richport, IL, and two sisters, Norma Leturno of Carpentersville, IL and Phyllis Jankowski of Tittusville, FL; daughter-in-law Carol Ledet of Bronson, TX; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, her sons Gerald Ledet and David L. Ledet, a sister, Dorothy Falke and two brothers, Leonard Lathrop and Gerald Lathrop.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hibben United Methodist Church, 690 Coleman Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
