Beulah Adams Alexander, 83, of Charleston, widow of Leon Eugene Alexander, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Thursday, December 15, 2011, at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel this Wednesday afternoon from 5 until 7 pm.
Born on July 8, 1928 in Cottageville, Colleton County, SC, Beulah was the daughter of the late William Benjamin Adams and the late Effie Clemmon Adams. She was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church and worked for Belk's Department Store for 15 years.
Surviving are her son, Jerry Alexander of Charleston; and three grandchildren, Ashlynn Alexander, Stacy Alexander, and Daniel Alexander. Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her son, Clarence Alexander.
