Betty Walker Wright passed away in her home on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the age of 89. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Betty was born December 20, 1928 in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late James C. Walker and Dorothy Holland Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde R.Wright, Jr.; her children, Sue (MC), Kenny, Billy (Karen), Linda (Mark) and Bobbie; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; step-children, Cindy (Mike) and Susan (John); four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her five siblings and her parents.
