Betty J. Wilson

Betty J. Wilson, 77, of Andrews, South Carolina, entered eternal rest Thursday, July 18, 2024, surrounded by her family. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Spring Pond Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Andrews SC at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2024, in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Betty was born June 7, 1947, in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, daughter of Norman Cleo Jordan and Lydia Paige Cantley Jordan. She worked for Charleston County Schools and enjoyed being outdoors working in her flower garden and watching the hummingbirds. Betty's cooking and baking filled the loving home she made for her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael J. Wilson (Melinda) of Andrews, SC, daughter, Tammy W. Giannelli of Wando, SC, daughter, Stephany W Braddy (Travis) of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Cleo Jordon, Donald Jordan (Sylvia), John Jordan (Pam); five grandchildren Richard J. Reynolds, Blakeley Reynolds, Cantley Wilson, Everette Wilson, and Abram Wilson who affectionately called her "Granny".

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jake, daughter Mandy Lydia Wilson, sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Jerry Robinson, and sister-in-law Shane Jordan.
