Betty Marie McMillan White

Betty Marie McMillan White, 82, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Paul Ernest White, Sr. died Thursday, October 29, 2015. Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Betty was born May 21, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William McMillan and the late Marie Miller McMillan. She retired from Bellsouth Telecommunications. Betty loved bowling at the Charleston Rifle Club, camping with the Bellsouth Pioneers, boating and fishing with her children and grandchildren. She loved to read and watch Walker, Texas Ranger on TV.

She is survived by two sons, Timmy White and his wife, Melanie, of Awendaw, SC and Paul E. White, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; three daughters, Paula Huff and her husband, Bill, of James Island, SC, Terri Schwerin and her husband, Jules, of Mount Pleasant, SC and Susan Kellum and her husband, Tommy, of Huger, SC; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Bobby White.
