Betty Jo Parnelle, 78, of James Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 5, 2022. She will be buried at Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.
Betty was born July 23, 1943 in Barnwell, South Carolina, daughter of the late Joseph E. Parler and Elaine Farris Parler.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Clyde Lynn Parnelle, and survived by her daughter Buffy Rowe, stepdaughter Debbie Glover, stepson Larry Parnelle, sister Barbara Childs, and brother Joe Parler.
Memorial donations may be made in Betty's honor to the Charleston Animal Society.
