Betty Justice Murray, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Philip Hedrick Murray, Sr. entered into eternal rest Friday, February 4, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3075 Bees Ferry Road at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Betty was born April 30, 1930 in Waycross, Georgia, a daughter of the late Caleb Fred Justice and the late Frieda Forner Justice.

Along with her husband of 68 years, she is survived by her sons, Philip Hedrick Murray, Jr. and Thurston Patrick Murray; her daughter, Frieda Murray Mackey; her grandchildren, Kathleen I. Mackey, Kristofer C. Mackey, and Philip G. Murray; and her great-grandchildren, Joelle Mackey and Jackson Mackey.
