Betty Ruth Fowler Martin

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 4, 2010, Betty Ruth Fowler Martin, widow of Jack Martin.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Betty Ruth Martin are invited to attend her funeral services in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 1 pm.  Entombment, Carolina Memorial Park.  Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Monday between 5 and 7 pm.

Mrs. Martin was born May 20, 1934 in Dothan, Alabama, one of seven children of the late Coley Fowler and the late Leatha Holland Fowler. She was a homemaker and a member of Northbridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Gregory Jack Martin, his wife, Cynthia, of Charleston; two grandchildren, Kelli Allison Martin Lorier, her husband, Joe, of Columbia, SC and Lindsay Alexandria Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC; two step-grandchildren, Jessica Lindsay Wolfe of Summerville and Erica Tiffany Thomas, her husband, Brian, of Charleston; and two sisters, Evelyn Traewick of Dothan, AL and Ruby Preston and her husband, Charlie, of Dallas, TX.
