Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 3, 2010, Betty Durant Martin, widow of John Martin. Residence, Folly Beach, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at two o'clock at the graveside in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Wednesday, prior to the service, between twelve noon and one-thirty o'clock. Mrs. Martin was born September 10, 1932, in Rocky Mount, NC, the daughter of Dove Thomas Durant and Rosa Winters Durant Lamm. She was a member of The French Huguenot Church and The Folly Beach Garden Club. She is survived by nieces and nephews and predeceased by two children.
