Betty Marberry Lewis

Betty Marberry Lewis, 92, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Clayteen Lewis died Monday, April 16, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Rodenberg Chapel (Franke at Seaside), 1885 Rifle Range Road at 11:00 am. Interment will be on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609 at 1:30 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Betty was born March 4, 1926 in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Primm C. Marberry and the late Penelope Carroll Marberry. She was married to her sweetheart Clayteen for 61 years. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC and enjoyed family time, shopping and gardening.

She is survived by four children, William "Bill" Primm Lewis, Penelope "Penny" Lewis, Lisa Lewis Pickett and Rebecca "Becky" Lewis Beacham; eight grandchildren, Tim Layman, Will Bolen, Clay Beacham, Hollis Beacham, Betty Anne Fredricks, Christie Griffiths, Michael Pickett and William Lewis and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Andy Lewis and three siblings.
