Betty Hamon Lankford, 87, of Mount Pleasant, SC, widow of Odis Odell Lankford, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 14, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Private interment, Carolina Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel. Mrs. Lankford was born November 19, 1924 in Tulsa, OK a daughter of Pad Hamon and Eula Miller Hamon. She was a former Supervisor at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. She was a former member of North Charleston Church of God. She is survived by her brother, Rev. B. G. (Dorothy) Hamon of Statesboro, GA; and sisters, Helen Bailey of Summerville, SC and Eileen Mullins of Tupolo, MS.
