Betty Brundage Kinard, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widow of Fredrick W. Kinard, M.D. Ph.D. died Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 in the Rodenberg Chapel, Franke at Seaside, 1600 Franke Drive at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the Franke Home.

Betty was born October 13, 1922 in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of the late John Joseph Murray and the late Wilhelmina Stelling Murray Conlon. She was a graduate of Murray Vocational High School and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, David E. Brundage (Brenda) of Beaufort, SC; daughter, Jeanne B. Schantz (Charles) of Waverly, OH; step-son, Fredrick Kinard, Jr. of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Brundage, Jr. and her infant son.
