Betty Roberson Creech

Betty R. Creech, 62, of Awendaw, South Carolina, wife of William H. Creech, Jr. died Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, 681 McCants Drive at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Betty was born October 15, 1954 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Charles Sterling Roberson and the late Helen Keehan Roberson. She was a loving
wife, mother, and "Granny." Betty loved gardening, camping, and serving her church family at First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant as well as at Seewee Bay.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Amanda Creech (Hugh Charlie) Byrd and William "Tripp" Howard (Ashley) Creech III, both of Awendaw, SC; grandchildren, Robert Austin, Lindsey Amanda, Savannah Kathryn, Alexandra McCants, Josslyn Elise, Abigail Jean, and Charlotte Isabella-Grace; three brothers, Robert Roberson of Niceville, FL, Charles Roberson of Awendaw, SC, James Roberson of Goose Creek, SC; three sisters, Jewel White of Huger, SC, Carol Riggs of Awendaw, SC, and Irene Ritchie of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her dog, Rosie.

Her family would like to acknowledge the special care from Dr. George Geils, Jr. and his staff as well as the staff of the Roper St. Francis chemo lab.
