Betty Jane Churchill

Betty Jane Churchill, 80, of James Island, SC, widow of Everett Brett Churchill, Sr., died Sunday, January 23, 2011, in a local hospital.

Born June 29, 1930 in Camden, SC she was one of two children of David Paul Boone and Hazel L. MacIntosh Boone. 

Mrs. Churchill is survived by children: Cheryl A. Pack Churchill of Hanahan, SC, Kenneth W. Churchill of North Charleston, SC, Therese Churchill and her husband James Lieurance of Ladson, SC and Michael D. Churchill and his wife Shawna of Asheville, NC; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother; and son, Everett Churchill, Jr.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM.  Interment to follow at Riverview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in Stuhr's North Area Chapel Wednesday, January 26, 2011 between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
