Betty Oliver Browder

March 11, 1927 — January 12, 2015

Betty Oliver Browder, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, former Owner of the Ram Room and widow of Caswell W. Browder, Jr. entered into eternal rest Monday, January 12, 2015. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside, Friday, January 16, 2015 in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in Martin Luther Lutheran Church.

Betty was born March 11, 1927 in Summerville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Leon Joseph Oliver and Maggie Jackson Oliver. She was a member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church and also a member of the Pythians, Elizabeth Temple # 2.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Caswell "Rocky" W. Browder, III (Marsha) and Gary A. Browder (Sharon); daughter, Brenda Carol Burke; two brothers, Robert Oliver and Terry Oliver; seven grandchildren: Brian Browder, Benjamin Browder, Elizabeth Geary, Sara B. Stevens, Drew Browder, Josef Burke and Mikalynn Burke; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1605 Harbor View Road, James Island, SC 29412.
