Betty Williams Infinger Blodgett

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of December 2, 2011, Betty Williams Infinger Blodgett, widow of Robert Leverne Infinger and wife of Barry Randall Blodgett. Residence, Spartanburg, SC, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, SC. The relatives and friends of Betty Blodgett are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Garden at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLESANT CHAPEL.

Mrs. Blodgett was born January 29, 1933 in Hell Hole Swamp, SC, daughter of Lurlie Jane Brinson Williams. She was President of B & B Water Company, former employee of Spartanburg District 2, was a former Sunday School teacher at Cornelius UMC and a member of the Cornelius United Methodist Church of Spartanburg, SC.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years of Spartanburg, SC, 8 children including two daughters: Therease Metivier and her husband, Chris of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Tammy Phillips and her husband, Jeff of Rabun Gap, GA; son, Jason Blodgett and his wife, Lara of Greenville, SC; brother, Louis Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC and two sisters, Clara Decker of Los Gatos, CA, Elizabeth DeStefano of Fort Lauderdale, FL., 28 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 409 King Street, Suite 300, Charleston, SC 29403 and/or the American Lung Association,
44-A Markfield Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
