Bette Wilson Henslee, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Claud Henslee entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 1, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where an Eastern Star service will be held at 6 p.m.

Bette was born July 6, 1923 in Savannah, Georgia. Bette was a Past Matron of Charleston OES #56 and Charter member of Jessie Belle Shonk OES #269, and member of Northbridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Brown Davis of Marietta, GA; three sons, Norman Brown Henslee of Springfield, VA; Michael C. Henslee of Charleston, SC; Julian C. Henslee of Tacoma, WA; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
