Bessie Inez Evans Huber, 87, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of the late Douglas Huber entered into eternal rest Monday, January 27, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Bessie was born January 28, 1937 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, daughter of the late Kermit Evans and the late Elizabeth Dulin Evans. She worked at Dixie Diner, Raybestos Manhattan, helped Build Cummings Diesel Engines and received a degree as a Master Gardner from Clemson University.

She is survived by son, Paul "Rick" Richard Hutsell (Maria) of Goose Creek, SC and daughter, Mitzi Hamlin; grandchildren: Richard Hutsell (Laura) of James Island, SC and Brian Hefner (Haidz) of Virginia Beach, VA; great grandchildren: Breanna Mercer, Jordan Hefner and Carlee Roxanne Hutsell. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Brandon Hefner.
