Bertie Edna Collins

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of January 20, 2011, Bertie Edna Collins, widow of Joseph L. Collins of North Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mrs. Bertie Collins are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Sunday, January 23, 2011, at 2 p.m.  Interment, Riverview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Mrs. Collins was born on August 14, 1927 in Horry County, SC the daughter of George T. Rabon  and Flarrie Rabon.  She was an inspector for a sugar packaging company and associate with Amstar.  She was a member of Church of God and also attended House of Prayer Holiness Church.

She is survived by her brothers, Vernell Rabon of North Charleston, SC and John Rabon of Goose Creek, SC.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Thorene Alford.
