Bertha Lee Munden

Bertha L. Munden, 97, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 23, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Wando Woods Baptist Church, 4123 Dorsey Avenue at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Wassamassaw Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL 2119 Dorchester Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Bertha was born July 12, 1917 in Moncks Corner, SC, daughter of the late George C. Miller and Alice Sutcliffe Miller. She was a graduate of Berkeley High School class of 1935. She was a faithful member of Wando Woods Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, Keenagers and Joyful Servants Sunday School class. She is survived by her sister, Elma Harris and her husband Fletcher of Charleston, SC; two nephews and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Colquitt Johnson in 1947, her sister, Lennis Lauterback and two brothers, Earl Miller and Allen Miller.
