Bernice Smith, 94, born in Bowman, SC, widow of Mack D. Smith Jr. and daughter of the late Henry Grattan DeWitt and Martha Cook DeWitt. Retired from SC National Bank and was a former member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Maxine D. Smith; son, Glynn A. Smith; daughter-in-law, Judy S. Smith all of North Charleston; four grandchildren: Dana R. Smith, Greg (Susie) Smith, Pamela G. Copeland and Jeff (Buffie) Copeland; 8 great-grandchildren.
