Bernice A. Hale

Bernice A. Hale, 76, of Goose Creek, SC, widow of Belverly Hale, died Monday, July 19, 2010, peacefully at home.

Born January 9, 1934 in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of Perry Alvin Ashmore and Lula Mae Boiter.  She was a former floral designer and had taught preschool.

Mrs. Hale is survived by her children:  Michael Hale, Christopher Hale, Sally Hayes; sister, Mary Odom and her son, Larry Odom; grandchildren:  Paul, Michelle, Chris, Michael, Christopher, James, Sally Ann, Lee, Rochella and Belverly; and 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a daughter, Cynthia Roland.

The graveside inurnment service will be held in Beaufort National Cemetery, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 1:30 PM.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
