Bera Floyd Richardson

Bera F. Richardson, 91, wife of the late James "Bobby" Marvin Richardson, Sr., of Mount Pleasant, SC, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family.   The relatives and friends of Bera Richardson are invited to attend her Funeral Service, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. The family will greet friends in the Chapel one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Richardson was born January 4, 1920 in Aynor, South Carolina, daughter of the late John William Floyd and Bera "Pearl" Edmunds Floyd.  She was a member of the Faith School Class at First Baptist Church. She is survived by her three daughters: Ann R. Pearson (Leroy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Gail R. Thorn (Noel) of Awendaw, SC, Lynn R. Harju (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and her daughter-in-law, Margaret H. Richardson, of Wadmalaw, SC; her two sons: John W. Richardson, Sr. (Linda) of Aiken, SC. and K. Wayne "Winki" Richardson of Huger, SC; eight grandchildren: Kimberley Couch (Macon, GA), John Richardson, Jr. (Union, SC), Tracy Thornley (Mt. Pleasant, SC), Kelly Campbell (Mt. Pleasant), David Thorn (Apex, NC), Jamie Hankins (Mt. Pleasant, SC), Chris Harju (Charleston, SC), and Brian Harju (Seattle, WA); twelve great-grandchildren Greer and Cooper Couch, Rebecca, Hunter and Rachael Richardson, Daniel and Abigail Thornley, Josh and Matthew Campbell, Hannah, Harrison and Henry Hankins; one great-great-grandson Gaven Couch and a large extended family.  Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her son, James M. Richardson, Jr., her granddaughter, Leigh Ann Pearson, her brother, J.W. Floyd and her sister Macie F. Gregg Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, (McCants Campus) 681 McCants Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC  29464.
