Benjamin Joseph Fricke, 31, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was born December 8, 1986, in Jacksonville, Florida, son of John Benjamin Fricke, Jr. and Linda Cowart Fricke. After completing culinary school in Portland, Oregon, Ben moved to Charleston to be a part of its vibrant culinary scene. He quickly fell in love with the coastal low-country life.

Ben is survived by his mother and father, John and Linda Fricke of Tallahassee, Florida, sister, Macy Fricke of Tallahassee and brother, Peter Fricke of Pensacola.

A funeral mass will be held on April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, in Pensacola, Florida.

Benjamin is predeceased by his grandparents John and Olive Fricke (Pensacola, FL) and Joe and Edie Cowart (Birmingham, AL).
