He is survived by his wife, Darlene cooper of North Charleston, SC; two daughters, Deidre Harmon of Goose Creek, SC and Tiffany Cooper of Summerville, SC; son, Benjamin Andre Cooper Jr. of Summerville, SC; sister, Barbara Morris of Greenville, SC; brother, Max Matthews of Greenville, SC; and four grandchildren, Hayden Cooper, Karl Lueck, Lauren Pundt and BreeAnne Cooper.
