Belinda McLemore "Lindie" Grimball, 62, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of David Othel Grimball sadly passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Walton Hall at St. John's Parish Church. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Walton Hall in St. John's Parish Church, 3673 Maybank Highway at 2:00 pm. Interment, St. John's Parish Church. Arrangements by J. Belinda was born January 28, 1963 in Charleston , South Carolina, daughter of Edith Anderson McElmore and the late Henry Cameron McElmore. She was a Clerk, with Civil Service and retired from Publix Grocery. Lindie loved her family deeply- her family and friends and most of all her son, Kevin, who passed away in October 2023. Lindie was the person who never forgot a special date and never hesitated to let you know she was thinking of you.; whether it was a birthday or an anniversary, any holiday, and especially the anniversary date of the passing of a loved one. Lindie graduated from James Island High School and attended Trident Technical College. Lindie was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, John's Island.

She is survived by her spouse David O. Grimball; mother Edith Anderson McLemore; sister Debbie Jones; brother Joe McLemore (Sharon); "special cousin" Penni Anderson Gibson (Mark); mother-in-Law, Margaret Grimball; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles. Lindie is predeceased by her father Cameron (Mac) McLemore; son Kevin D. Grimball; and father-in-law Harold Grimball; brother-in-law Johnny Jones.
