Belinda Frances Wilson Brown, 73, passed away November 19, 2021, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Belinda was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, on November 13, 1948, and was the youngest child of Herman Kelner Wilson, Jr., and Lula Polson ("Pat") Wilson.
She is survived by her son David Polson Brown (Elise) from Charleston, South Carolina, her brother Herman Kelner Wilson, III, (Pam) from Kingston, Washington, and two grandchildren Elise Seabrook Rivers Brown and Harriet Hay Ellis Brown from Charleston, South Carolina. Belinda is predeceased by her older sister Jean Wilson Marinelli.
Early in her career, Belinda was highly successful working for a Charleston shipping business; and, in her retirement years, she worked in education as a teacher's aide; one of her joys was caring for the students under her charge. And the singular purpose in her life was serving her family.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 23,2021 in Rockville Presbyterian Church , Wadmalaw Island, SC at 11am.
