Barry L. Shuler, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Gladys "Sue" Helen Windsor Shuler entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 27, 2018. His memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

Barry was born April 28, 1948 in Santee, South Carolina, son of the late N. Leo Shuler and Lois Felkel Shuler. He was the Chief Technology Officer for Marriott International. Barry was inducted into the Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame and was one of the top 25 Hospitality CTOs in the world. He was the president of HNTG.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Shuler of Charleston, SC; two brothers: Russell Shuler of Asheville, NC and Boyd Shuler of Orangeburg, SC; and sister, Marie Rast of Cameron, SC.

He was predeceased by his sister, Brenda Johnson.
