Barry Edwin Dickinson

Barry Edwin Dickinson, 62, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Sandra Burn Dickinson entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 2, 2016. His funeral service will be held at the graveside Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Monday, April 4, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Barry was born April 6, 1953 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Walter Edwin Dickinson and Janie Christine Droze Dickinson. He was a Transmission Mechanic with Carl's Transmission Service until his retirement..

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Dickinson; two sons, Barry Dickinson, Jr., and David Dickinson all of Johns Island, SC; brother, Arnold Reeves of Ridgeville, SC; sister, Terri Caraviello of North Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Christina Dickinson, Malissa Dickinson, Matthew Dickinson, and one great-grandson, Adrian James Ashby.
