Barbara Jean Wilson

Barbara Jean Wilson, 83, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday, February 26, 2024. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in the Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Avenue at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Barbara was born July 13, 1940 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late George G. Bishop and Anna Mae Jackson Bishop. She worked at Delicious Delights Bakery where she enjoyed working with her teammates with special needs and was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Barbara will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. 

She is survived by her son, Gregory Scott Wilson (Mendy); her daughter, Tammy Jean Ware (Glenn); her sister, Georgia Mae Follin; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gene A. Wilson, Jr.
