Barbara Thompkins Williams

Barbara Thompkins Williams, 75, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Henry M. Williams, Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, June 19, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Stuhrs Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Barbara was born March 19, 1940 in Conway, South Carolina, daughter of the late Theo Thompkins and Lena Bell Shelley Thompkins. She retired as Manager of Bargain Mart Furniture where she worked with Barney Metts for over 20 years. She enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach, fishing at Edisto, watching Lifetime movies and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Williams (Tim) of Hollywood, SC; two sons, Henry "Hank" M. Williams, Jr., of Meggett, SC, and Keith Alan Williams, Sr. of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Angela Jerome (Joey), Amanda Williams, Trey Williams (Gypsy), Melissa Wigger (David) and Keith Alan Williams, Jr., great-grandchildren, Kaelah, Atticus, Gracelyn, Madison and one on the way. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Thompkins, Billy Thompkins and Sister, Mary Alice Craft (Billy).
