Barbara Hinnant Tyrrell

Barbara Hinnant Tyrrell, 82, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Paul Andrew Tyrrell, Sr. entered into eternal rest Monday, July 10, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 in Epworth United Methodist Church, 1540 Camp Road at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Barbara was born on a Saturday in August 25, 1934 in Macedonia, South Carolina, daughter of the late Cornelious R. Hinnant and MaryCatherine Litchfield Hinnant. She was a charter member of Epworth United Methodist Church, an avid bowler and a member of the Charleston Women's Bowling Association. Barbara was a former South Carolina State Doubles Bowling Champion.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Annie Lee of Charleston, SC; sons: Jimmy R. Tyrrell (Jackie) of Kingsland, GA and Bill W. Tyrrell of Charleston, SC; grandson, Jason L. Lee; granddaughter, Ashley T. Unrue; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by all her siblings which included three sisters: Catherine Litchfield, Vivian Mitchum and Celia Harris; five brothers: Neal , Marion , Arthur Sr., Arnold and Leonard Hinnant; and daughter, Janice Paulette Tyrrell.
