Miss Barbara Ann Tamsberg entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 25, 2024. 

Barbara was born in Bennettsville, SC on March 13, 1931, a daughter of Charles T. Tamsberg, Jr. and Louise Annette Craven. She was a graduate of Memminger High School (1949) attended the College of Charleston and graduated from Rice Business College. Barbara worked as an administrative assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina for 43 years. She was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, serving on many committees and serving as secretary of the Vestry for 30 years. 

Her funeral service will be held Monday, January 6, 2024 in St. John's Lutheran Church, 5 Clifford Street at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow in Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 5, 2024 in St. John's Lutheran Church from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr. Inc. Downtown Chapel. 

Barbara is survived by Mrs. Robert Clark (Kaye Lemon), Mrs. Richard Townsend (Mary Lemon), Miss Charlotte Lemon, Dr. Robert J. Dukes, Jr., Mrs. Frank Briggs (Margaret Ann Craven), Mr. Grey Craven and many cousins.
