Barbara Shoop, 89, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of William W. Shoop entered into eternal rest Friday, November 14, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave. N. Charleston at 10:00 AM. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Barbara was born on January 2, 1936, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of George F. Butler and Beatrice Greenhill Butler. She enjoyed life as a homemaker and mother.

She is survived by her loving children, Glenn Mason of Goose Creek, SC, Tony Mason of Hanahan, SC, Donna Farley of Rockhill, SC, William Shoop Jr. of Goose Creek, SC, and her sister, Shirley Rhea of North Charleston, SC. In addition, Barbara is survived by five (5) grandchildren and five (5) great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Shoop, her father, Geroge F. Butler, her mother, Beatrice Greenhill Butler, and her sister Doris Hiott.
