Barbara Ann Selander, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Her Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the Lutheran Church Of The Redeemer, 714 Riverdale Drive at 1:00 pm. Interment, Ridge Baptist Churchyard, Summerville, SC . The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Barbara was born September 2, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of Carl Julius Selander and Bessie Harmon Selander. She was retired as a EKG Technician with the VA Medical Center. She graduated from Chicora High School. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion. She also enjoyed attending the dog training classes at K-9 Conversions.

She is survived by her sister, June Selander McCallister (James) of Columbus, NC; two brothers: Carroll F. Selander (Anne) of Summerville, SC, John Allen Selander (Harriet) of Charleston, SC: three nieces: six nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. Barbara was a doting aunt.
