Barbara Hiott Scheffler, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 1, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Barbara was born March 6, 1940 in Columbia, South Carolina, daughter of Harmon "HB" Benjamin Hiott and Winifred Cope "Winnie" Hiott. She was a former Sales Clerk with Sam Soloman's. Barbara was an avid Football and Nascar fan. She loved her crafts, fishing, and enjoyed many visits to Cherokee, NC.

She is survived by her three daughters, Terri Gregory (Mark) of Charleston, SC, Barbara Ellen Owca (Dave), Vicky Herriott (Keith) both of Summerville, SC; brother, Benjamin Cope Hiott (Andrea) of Charleston, SC, two sisters, Brenda Hiott Baker (Billy) of Manning, SC, Nancy Hiott McCants (Larry) of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren, Robbie, Jason, Tonya, Will, Buddy, Joe, Josh, Gabrielle; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
