Barbara A Redford

On August 12, 2020, Barbara Redford gained her angels wings in Charleston, SC. Born and raised in Connecticut, Barbara lived in a Charleston assisted living community the past few years to be closer to family. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Redford. Barbara is survived by daughters Linda O'Leary (husband David) of Charleston, SC and Susan Theriault (husband Bob) of Port Charlotte, FL., grandsons Tim O'Leary (wife Bryanne) of Boston, MA, KJ O'Leary of Norwalk, CT, John Theriault (fiance Kalin Riley) and Brent Theriault (wife Bridgette) both of Port Charlotte, FL., 2 brothers Raymond Sorrentino (wife Claire) of Venice FL, Bobby Sorrentino (wife Jan) of Dania, FL and her sister Marilyn Wardell of Milford, CT and many nieces and nephews.

Mom was a ray of sunshine each day teaching all she met many life lessons - remain positive, never give up on your dreams, help those you meet in life and have a huge heart. A gentle and giving person, Barbara an avid quilter made and donated hundreds of quilts for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven, CT. Barbara loved to garden and was the happiest when she was up to her elbows in dirt tending to her larger perennial beds. Cooking was Barbara's true passion, from home made pasta to baking endless pies and cookies, Barbara stood ready to host large groups and feed anyone who entered her home.
