Barbara Christine Redell

Barbara Christine Redell, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 3, 2022. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Barbara was born November 25, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Middleton High School, class of 1973. In her younger years, she loved riding and caring for horses, especially her horse Bucky. She was passionate about living the horse life and spending as much time at the stables with her friends and the horses. She retired from the Charleston County Assessor's Office with over 30 years service and enjoyed a quiet and simple retirement, by going to movies and visiting with family. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading.

She is survived by her father, Christian H. L. Redell, Jr. and his wife, Maria Redell; mother, Pauline Haltiwanger Redell; brother, Paul David Christian Redell; sisters, Deborah R. Caraway all of Charleston, SC, and Beverly R. Michel (Ronald) of Ponchatoula, LA; aunt, Emma Haltiwanger of Mt. Pleasant, SC; uncles, Thomas Gelwicks and Jack Carter both of James Island; niece, Amanda Mylin (Willie) of Ravenel; nephew, Dustin Michel (Shannon) of Madisonville, LA.; and numerous cousins.
