Barbara Legette Raley

Barbara Legette Raley, 84, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Her memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Barbara was born April 16, 1936 in Kershaw, South Carolina, daughter of the late Leonard Ervin Raley and the late Elizabeth Rhame. She received her Master's Degree and went on to teach art and French at the high school level. She was a resident of Isle of Palms for many years before moving to the Holly Hill area. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by them always.

She is survived by her sister, Angela R. Turner (Steve) of Holly Hill, SC; sister, Helena R. Warner (Jon) of Banner Elk, NC; nephews, Paul "Tyler" Dawson and Craig Allan Dawson, both of James Island, SC; nephew, Alan Michael West, NC; nephew, Jeff Neal, SC; niece, Tiffany West Neasbitt, NC; niece, Amy Neal Lyon, NC. Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Neal.
