Barbara Jean Price

Barbara Jean Price, 87, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of the late Carroll Price entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Barbara was born February 19, 1938 in Downey, California, daughter of the late Roy Brown and the late Dorothy Bromwell Brown. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Charleston. Barbara worked as a florist at Piggly Wiggle for many years. She loved making hand smocked clothing, sweet grass baskets and cards. Barbara was a Stingray season ticket holder for over 30 years. 

She is survived by children: Deborah Bailey (the late Roger) of Manhattan, KS, Richard Rice (Pamela) of Goose Creek, SC, Scott Sauder (Annette) of IN, Russell Sauder (Susan) of Summerville, SC, and April Skowonski (Richie) of Moncks Corner, SC; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Gary Brown.
