Barbara Jane Witbeck McFee

Barbara Jane Witbeck McFee, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023.  Her memorial service and the burial of her urn will take place on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Saratoga National Cemetery in Saratoga Springs, New York at 9:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

Barbara was born May 30, 1934 in Albany, New York, daughter of the late Edmund Witbeck and Hilda Westfall Witbeck.  Barbara loved cooking, baking, knitting and many outdoor activities. She loved her family and was a dear friend to many but her favorite role was "Grammy" to her three grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Lewis McFee and her daughter-in-law, Anne Bonadio McFee. She is survived by her sons, Wayne McFee (Rhonda) and Scott McFee; her daughter, Deborah DeZalia (Terry) and grandchildren; Alexandra McFee Cruz (Arturo), John McFee and Daniel McFee. 

She is also survived by her sisters Frances Van Buren (Ed) and Carol Conzen (Wolf); and her brother William Witbeck (Marsha) as well as many nieces and nephews.
