Barbara Jean Brady McConnaughey, 63, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. The relatives and friends of Barbara McConnaughey are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 10, 2012 in Christ Our King Catholic Church at 12:30 PM. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Barbara was born on June 22, 1948 in Queens, New York, daughter of the late Francis "Frank" Brady and Jeanette Pfaltzgraff Brady. She was an Administrative Professional at Mediterranean Shipping Company. She was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and member of Christ Our King Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Lector Ministry.

She is survived by her son, Patrick McConnaughey and his wife, Jessica of Duncan, SC; one grandson, Brady Patrick McConnaughey of Duncan, SC.
