Barbara Avon Penninger Leviner

Barbara Avon Penninger Leviner, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Robert Edward Leviner, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 24, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 in Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte, North Carolina. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Barbara was born January 30, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of the late Walter Floyd Penninger, II and Mamie Helmes Penninger. She was well-known in the local Mt. Pleasant community, having worked for many years as a cosmetologist at Arlene's Beauty Shop. She and her husband were also the owners of Shade-A-Plenty Mobile Home Park, and attended Hibben United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Gloria Welch (Pat) of Charleston, SC; her nephews, Walter Penninger (Tina) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Tommy Penninger (Kristy) of Charleston, SC; and other extended family members.
