Barbara Faye Hutson

Barbara Faye Hutson, 83, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, wife of Albert Walter Hutson, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Faye was born March 4, 1939 in Branchville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert Allen Redmond and Ollie Mae Myers Redmond.  She worked in food service for much of her working life.  Faye loved her Lord and Savior.  She was often heard saying, "I know God and God knows me!"  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner and volunteered for the food committee for many years.  Being in food service all her life, it's no surprise that Faye was an excellent cook.  She loved cooking for her entire family and was a true master of Southern Cooking.  Faye was all about her family, with her five children being the jewels in her crown.  She enjoyed going to Camp Meeting revivals and also loved going to Folly Beach with her family.  "Love God, work hard and take care of your family" are words that Faye lived by.  She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children:  Donna Green Ross (Carlyle), Debbie Lynn Green, Keenan Green (Debbie), Richard Allen Green (Renee) and Bobby Green (Wendy); six grandchildren, Kristin Ross Sanger (Peter), Keaton Green (Allison), Kinsey Green Seglem (Alex), Daniel Ryan Green (Rachel), Ashley Green Berry (Hunter) and Drayton Green; six great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Karson, Bennett, Isabella, Sophia and Stella Faye; one nephew, Trae Redmond (Jennifer).  

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Allen.
