Entered into eternal rest on the evening of February 6, 2011 Barbara Joyce Gosnell Heuer, wife of Robert Phillip "Bobby" Heuer.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Heuer are invited to attend her memorial service Thursday, February 10, 2011 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. and following the service.

Barbara was born September 19, 1947 in Pelzer, SC, a daughter of the late James B. Gosnell and the late Joyce Faulkner Gosnell.  She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby of Charleston; daughter, Susan Newton Jordan and her husband, Leroy Jordan of Charleston; son, Joseph Edward Heuer of Charleston; step-mother, Betty A. Gosnell of Charleston; sister, Jennifer Lynn Gosnell of Goose Creek; brother, Judge James B. Gosnell, Jr. of Charleston; step-sister, Barbara Harper and her husband Dr. Pinckney Harper, Jr. of Charleston; step-brother, Frank Arnold of Bluffton, SC; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Matt Newton and her sister, Elizabeth Gosnell Ingram.
