Barbara Harriet Burt

Barbara H. Burt, 92, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on July 28, 2017 at The Bridge Assisted Living Home. She was born December 20, 1924 in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of John H. and Gladys Weatherford. She was the widow of Oscar E. Burt, USAF (Ret.).

Her viewing will be held at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, at 1:00 p.m.

Surviving are her children: Kenneth C. Burt of North Charleston; Daniel E. Burt (Sue) of Hanahan; Carole S. Stukes (Bob) of Goose Creek; John D. Burt (Ann) of North Charleston; and Paul M Burt (Jackie) of Murfreesboro, TN; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the charity of one's choice.
