Barbara Beylotte Griffin, of Charleston, SC passed away December 2, 2011 after her long battle with Breast Cancer. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 11 am. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Tuesday, between 5 and 7 pm.
Mrs. Griffin was born August 24, 1938 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late William E. Beylotte and Anne Mizzell Beylotte. She was a retired child care provider and a member of Northbridge Baptist Church. Barbara was a courageous woman who always saw the brighter side of a day. She was the light of our life and we will miss her dearly!
She is survived by her mother of Charleston; a son, Drew Griffin (Beth) of Fryeburg, ME; a daughter, Kathy Pisano (Kerry) of Summerville and "sister-cousin", Belinda; three sisters, Delores Heath and Sharon Frizzel, both of Columbia and Miriam Bosco of Charleston; two brothers, Thomas Beylotte and William Beylotte, both of Charleston; four grandchildren, Anthony Pisano (Erin), Amy Pisano, Dacota Griffin and Hunter Griffin; and one great-grandchild, Isabella Pisano. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Edward Griffin.
