Barbara Joyce VanEmburgh Crippen

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 5, 2010, Barbara Joyce VanEmburgh Crippen, widow of James Hamilton Crippen.  Residence, Hollywood, South Carolina.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Wednesday , December 8, 2010 from 5 until 7 p.m.  Funeral services will be private. 

Barbara was born on August 22, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas, daughter of the late James John VanEmburgh and the late Mary Vivelene Posey VanEmburgh.  She was a Technician retired from Hill Rom Industries and was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Zelasko of Charleston; two sons, John Phillip Wright of Summerville and Ben Walter Crippen of Charleston; a sister, Betty Gerlach of Moncks Corner; and two grandchildren, Kyler Crippen and Jarryd Wright.
