Barbara Hall Coker, 89, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 26, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Barbara was born January 20, 1936, in Vidalia, Georgia, daughter of the late Jethro Pinckney Hall and the late Lillian Spivey Mack. To many she was known as Lovey. She loved to dance and was a Charleston Flapper; she was a homemaker, teacher’s aide, and later in life worked at the North Charleston Coliseum as usher and receptionist.

She is survived by children: David Alan Coker (Kim) of Hanahan, SC and Stacey Coker Goretzka (Dave) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren: Skylar Samenko and Jocelyn Samenko; and many loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Ashley Gardens Memory Care and Transitional Assisted Living.
