Barbara D. Mims Bryant

Barbara D. (Mims) Bryant, 76, of Hollywood, South Carolina, wife of The Reverend Philip C. Bryant entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 2, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in The French Huguenot Church, 136 Church Street at 3:00 pm . Interment will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Mrs. Bryant was born November 5, 1937 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Marion Barnwell Doughty and the late Mary Frances Buck Doughty. She was a graduate of Rivers High School. She retired from First Federal Savings and Loan as Assistant Vice President of the Construction Loan Department. She was a member of the French Huguenot Church.

She is survived by her loving husband; one son, William E. Mims Jr. and his wife Joni of Trabuco Canyon, CA; three step-daughters, Amy B. Cox and her husband Chris of Hanahan, SC, Stacey Bryant and Tracey B. Stuckey and her husband Franklin, all of Hemingway, SC; four grandchildren, Olivia, Brayden and Jaxson Mims and Rivers Stuckey.
